The last recording of Chicago jazz legend Franz Jackson!

Recorded live at Franz's 95th birthday concert in November, 2007, this 2-disc set allows you to experience what it was like to be there that very special night when Franz achieved a milestone (hence the album title).

This package includes the physical CD set with the 12-page booklet containing Franz's bio, color photos from the night of the concert, pics of the performers, acknowledgements and all that jazz! You'll also receive a download of the entire album so you can take Franz's party with you wherever you go!

The organic recording arrangement and the introductions and commentary by emcee Neil Tesser (revered Chicago jazz critic and reviewer) make the listener feel as though they're sitting front row center for this once-in-a-lifetime event.

Featuring some of the best jazz performers around, all of whom came to pay tribute and celebrate with Franz, this concert was a instant collaboration of professionals. Despite no rehearsals and the fact that some of the performers hadn't played with each other in years (some had never even met!), the result is a full-on, life affirming celebration of Franz's spirit and musical legacy; even more poignant because he left us six months later in May, 2008.
